#CoverReveal ROYALLY YOURS by Emma Chase

Hi everyone! I'm so happy to share with you the cover and blurb for Emma Chase's upcoming release, ROYALLY YOURS, a promising story about a beloved character in the Royally series.

I must confess that I cried a little (well, a lot) when I read the blurb.

I'm so excited about this book!
Wanna know why? Take a look!

Princess Lenora Celeste Beatrice Arabella Pembrook had an unusual childhood. She was raised to be a Queen—the first Queen of Wessco.
It’s a big deal.
When she’s crowned at just nineteen, the beautiful young monarch is prepared to rule. She’s charming, clever, confident and cunning.
What she isn’t…is married.
It’s her advising council’s first priority. It’s what Parliament is demanding, and what her people want.
Lenora has no desire to tie herself to a man—particularly one who only wants her for her crown. But compromises must be made and royals must do their duty.
Even Queens. Especially them.
**
Years ago, Edward Langdon Richard Dorian Rourke, walked away from his title and country. Now he’s an adventurer—climbing mountains, exploring jungles, going wherever he wants, when he wants—until family devotion brings him home.
And a sacred promise keeps him there.
To Edward, the haughty, guarded little Queen is intriguing, infuriating…and utterly captivating. Wanting her just might drive him mad—or become his greatest adventure.
**
Within the cold, stone walls of the royal palace—mistrust threatens, wills clash, and an undeniable, passionate love will change the future of the monarchy forever.
Every dynasty has a beginning. Every legend starts with a story.
This is theirs.

ROYALLY YOURS will be available on October 30th
Pre-order:

#Review KISS THE GIRL by Tara Sivec

KISS THE GIRL is one of the most fun, romantic, sweet and crazy books that I've read in my life, and I loved that! With this series Tara Sivec has proved that romance novels can be empowering, that friendship can be found in the most unexpected ways and love always finds its way.

The Naughty Princess Club series has been an amazing ride for me as a reader, and this last installment was the cherry on top of a wonderful work. Sexy, sweet, funny but with a strong message about self esteem, women supporting women (not trash talking them or tearing them down), and taking chances to pursue their dreams together as friends and family.

Besides all the laughter and the resemblance to the classic fairy tale, Tara Sivec built an epic love story between Ariel and Eric. There was a strong pull between them from the beginning of the series, growing stronger with each book, and finally was set free in KISS THE GIRL. And you know what? these two are amazing together!

This isn't your regular romance. This is a love story reaching new levels of awesomeness, and can't wait for you to read it.

I'm #TeamPrinceHotStuff btw, and in case you were wondering #ArielIsMySpiritAnimal lol

Now let me introduce to you KISS THE GIRL by Tara Sivec

A struggling antiques collector finds herself falling in love with a millionaire playboy; but can she ever be a part of his world?
Meet the Naughty Princess Club, a series from USA Today bestselling author Tara Sivec that brings readers to Fairytale Lane and the hilarity—and romance—that three women fall into once they decide to strut their stuff and bring on their own happily ever after.
While her friends have broken free of their insecurities, Ariel Waters is struggling to come out of her shell. Her ex-husband took away her voice and her self-confidence, and Ariel is drowning under a sea of debt to afford the alimony she has to pay him. She refuses to ever fall for a man’s charms again, and is determined to make her own way.
When her house and her beloved antiques are taken by the bank after too many missed payments, Ariel finds herself adrift until the infuriatingly charming Eric Sailor comes to her rescue. Although she can’t stand the millionaire playboy, Eric’s kindness and unconditional support reveal hidden depths and a love that Ariel never imagined she could find.
But there are outside influences who will stop at nothing to keep them apart; can Ariel and Eric weather the storm and find a way to be together in Kiss the Girl?

#NewRelease Don't Look Back by Dawn Ryder

Hi everyone! Let's talk a little bit about this sexy new release by Dawn Ryder, set in her Unbroken Heroes world: DON'T LOOK BACK.

This is my first time reading this series and author, but I found myself captivated by the plot and the charming characters. The story is intriguing, suspenseful and intense, but as I was reading I felt I was missing something.

The book was wrote as standalone, but you need some background to understand what's happening and why. The lead couple in this book, Thais and Dunn, is great but there are moments in the narration where they seem to be secondary characters because someone else steals the show.

The romance part of the story is intense and sexy, difficult because of the past of the characters but hot as an inferno. The suspense part was nicely written and conducted. I would loved to have seen more action in the final chapters, because of the tension that was being built, but things ended and I felt again I was missing something. I suppose that now I have to read the previous books and give this one a new visit soon.

Are you curious?
Take a look at the sexy cover and blurb:

She is the only woman worth fighting - or dying - for...

Shadow Ops Agent Thais Sinclair has sworn off falling in love for good. It’s what’s kept her calculated, steady, and on-task in a world dominated by men. She needs nothing and no one but her own wits and strength to guide her. But when she’s slated to shadow the one man who could reveal their entire operation, all bets are off.

Dunn Bateson, illegitimate son of a Southern debutante, has always had to fight harder than the rest to get what he wants. Now, the last thing he needs is Thais following his every move. She is so strong, sly, seductive. . . No woman has ever captivated him so completely. Thais may only have room for her mission in her heart, but is Dunn up to the challenge of showing her that she’s worth every risk he is willing to take?

EXCERPT

I quietly open the passenger door and pull her sleeping body in my arms. I carry her to the front door of the Malcomb Place, trying not to wake her.
She jerks up. “I need Eli. Please.” She struggles. I tighten my grip around her. “I’m here. I’m right here.” I’m in too deep, I tell myself. I’m not sure if this is the right move or not, but she needs rest, so I carry her into the bedroom, setting her down on the bed. I know I need to reassure her. Calm her. “I’m all right. I’m right here.”
She begins to shake as she falls against my chest. “I’m cold.”
I gently pull her arms from me even though I want nothing more than for her to be in my arms. I have to do what’s best for her and not me. I’m methodical, only because I want her to know this has nothing to do with sex and everything about taking care of her needs.
It’s when I undo her bra with my hand and pull it between us that I feel her against me. All of her.

REVIEW:

I first read this book last year. I was enamored of the cover and intrigued with the blurb, so I bought it. The paperback came home a few days before the release day and I was so excited that started to read right away. The story didn't disappoint me, so when I hear the author was republishing the book, adding words and stuff I knew I had to read it.

The narrative rhythm was insane. Chapter after chapter you know more about Emi's past, but also live with her every struggle before her Hanna's wedding. Once you start reading you can stop. The descriptive level was wonderful, how the author pictured the places, the people and the situations make you feel as if you are there with the characters.

I really enjoyed Emi's friendship with Lily and Hannah, her relationship with her twin brother Evan and how she reacted when she saw Jack for the very first time after a long time. I loved how the feelings she had deep inside her fought to reach the surface again. And Jack... oh my! That man is something else.

Side note: I loved Liam too, and how he connected with Emi. His role in the story was pretty cool and I would love to read more about him in the future (pretty please!)

What I didn't like, was Greta (THAT BITCH!!). In fact, I hate that girl. She's bad! like really really bad person. She's self centered, selfish, envious... she's all that you don't need near you. But she's part of the wedding party, so poor Emi has to deal with her. This evil witch has something that was Emi's once, and I'm not talking about a hair band.

Also she will have you wanting to commit murder.

As wedding's day get closer, things start to get weird but fun. There's a drunk Emi having bad luck, some "beauty accidents" and strong revelations. Get ready for the ride!

The Lucky Dress is a fun, sweet and romantic story that celebrates friendship and love, but also has many emotional moments, intrigue and secrets to be discovered. If you're looking for a new book, try this one and thank me later ;)

Wanna know more about this story? Check this note from the author talking about the inspiration behind Emi as a character.

Emi Harrison is what came out when I started typing one day. She’s not perfect and I love that the most about her. She’s what we all are at times, stubborn, insecure, witty, confused, and so much more all mixed into a big ball of humanity that changes with each life experience thrown her way.

We’ve all been there, trying to do the right thing in a situation that is impossible and failing completely through the entire thing. Our intentions are good, our execution is horrible. She either tries too hard or not enough. She needed space and Jack gave it to her (because chasing down the girl who needs to escape isn’t cool either).

Emi does share some qualities with myself and probably with a lot of people. I can be stubborn and I’ve avoided situations like the plague at times in my life. Things that were probably only really ‘situations’ to me and no one else. I’m not a size 2, my hair has really melted off after too many dye and bleach jobs, I’ve fallen without any assistance besides gravity, and the words that come out of my mouth sometimes shock even me.

As a writer we’re told to write what we know. I did exactly that but I exaggerated it. Each of the characters have a little of me in them I think because I know myself best. As for Emi, I wanted her to be a woman everyone knows. The woman who doesn’t have every detail in her life figured out and isn’t always happy with herself or her decisions in life because that’s true to life. I wanted her to have those insecure thoughts because whether you admit it or not, we’ve all had them. I wanted her to make mistakes because we’ve all made them. I wanted her to have the observations that we shouldn’t say out loud because we all have them.

When I re-read Emi’s thoughts I’m happy with them because she’s exactly as I wanted to create her. An actual flawed human being that doesn’t do or say the right thing all the time. The fact that some readers don’t like her is exactly what should happen. Not everyone will love you as a person or a character and that’s OK. That means she’s real. I love Emi and I think she was the perfect character for this story.

Exclusive Excerpt:

Eli scoots closer, his look hooded. “Get under the covers.”
I obey. I know what he needs because I feel the same carnal need. Maybe we should just have sex, and all this would go away. I want him to slide on top of me, and I want to feel him between my legs.
Hesitantly, with the blanket between us, he carefully brushes the strands of my hair out of my face and then slides his hand down my neck. My body is fully aware of his presence, and I want nothing more than to feel him.
My breathing quickens.
With a layer of feathers between his hand and my body, his hand grazes over my breasts, my nipples knowing full well the seriousness of this situation as they tingle and expand, creating an ache.
His hand slides down across my stomach, and his eyes ask if this is all right.
I know this is not Kyle but Eli. Someone new. The only other man I’ve allowed to touch me like this. The feathers provide the buffer that I think we both need.
My lips part, and I lick them because they, too, desperately need attention. My legs fall to the sides, providing Eli with space that he needs and me with more want.
I need to resist him.I need not to want him.I need to gain clarity in my mind of what this looks like, this situation we’re both agreeing to, but I can’t. Because all I see is his face, which is full of concern, but I think it’s also something he can’t stop.
Eli’s hand stops right before he reaches the center of my body, the part that has only been claimed by Kyle. It isn’t because Eli wants to; it’s because he has to.
“I can’t do this with you, Alex.”
