Sidebarred is a short story, and is part of the Legal Briefs series by Emma Chase. In this book we met and fell in love again with all the characters.
The whole book is narrated in first person from Jake's POV. Through his eyes we discover what happened after every Happily Ever After, and how their lives are now. Married life isn't easy, especially for couple with kids. And we're talking about a couple with 6 kids in the house. In certain way they have found a way to keep things cool, to keep alive the 'flame of love' even with their weird schedule... but life is a continuous adventure. What happen if we put a pregnancy in the mix?
This story is funny, romantic, and a total MUST for everyone. Even if you're not read the Legal Briefs series yet. But, do you want an advice? Go and read the other books too. The author's writing style is pretty awesome. I had the chance to red her before (some of her books are already in Spanish, btw) and I love her!
When the publisher offer me the ARC of this book I was so happy, and now I just can say GO AND BUY THE BOOK because it's amazing. I leave 5 stars in Goodreads, but I could give her even more stars.
