ARC REVIEW - DECIDEDLY WITH BABY by Stina Lindenblatt

Hi there everyone! Today I'm happy to share this new release by Stina Lindenblatt, a contemporary romance author that I've discovered thanks to NetGalley and whose books I love so much. Maybe you've read about her in my blog, maybe this is a new author for you... anyway, let's take a look on this book.

One-Night Stand Rule #1:
Always check the condom’s expiry date.
Oops.

Career-orientated Holly Whittaker has a plan, and being a mom is not part of it. Her not-quite-a-fairytale childhood involved being brought up by thirty nannies (yes, thirty!), so what the heck does she know about being a mom anyway?

Playboy Josh Hoffer has no room in his life for a family or steady girlfriend. His hockey career comes first. Life is tough when you’re on the road more times than you’re not. Besides, what does he know about diapers and baby yoga and fairytale princesses?

After Holly receives some unexpected bad news, she’s looking to blow off a little steam, and hot sex with Mr. No Commitment himself fits the bill just fine. But sex is never without consequences, and this time it’s more than her heart that is at stake. This time, Mr. No Commitment and Ms. Career need to figure out what’s really important to them and find room in their heart for another—plus one.

Decidedly with baby is a funny, sweet and sexy story about a hockey player and a workaholic, Josh and Holly. With an engaging storyline the author shows how these characters (whom became friends thanks to Trent and Kelsey from Decidedly Off Limits) have fun together but never chased a romantic relationship with the other because they're married to their jobs. That doesn't mean they aren't attracted for each other...

One night, lots of alcohol and an expired condom`s box changed their lives, and they're about to discover how much it will change.

I particularly enjoyed this book. It was a sweet and fun read with lots of sexy moments. The chemistry between Holly and Josh was amazing, the moment they're in the same room everything burns 'cause of them. It was THAT hot. Then things started to change, feelings that weren't there started to grow and the romance found its way.

There's no major drama, and it's in fact a short story. I laughed out loud so much but I also wanted to slap some sense into them because they belonged with each other! The pregnancy was totally unexpected for both, and the way they reacted and assumed their new roles as parents was touching. They didn't want to repeat their parents mistakes, they wanted to make thing right for the baby, and in that journey they started to feel things for the other. They were afraid of those feelings, but somethings the biggest prices in life came after a trust fall. The book has an amazing narrative rythm. Once I started, I coudn't stop reading it!
