Hey everyone! This Saturday has been absolute madness, but... I'm here to talk to you about books, more specifically this book by Meghan March, and that subject never fail to improve my mood.
So, here we go.
Deal with the Devil by Meghan March let me speechless. Literally. I had no words, at least for a day or two. So I took a rest, read a couple of books from my TBR and... read it again, 'cause I need more Jericho in my life, lol.
The story is one of the best I've read by this author. It's an outstanding work, with wonderful (complex, deep and complicated yet charming and lovable) characters, a fast paced narrative rhythm and lots and lots of intrigue. Once I started to read it, I couldn't stop.
Jericho, the leading man, is one of those sexy alphas, with this pirate vibe going on. Her POV is quite interesting, because since the beginning you know he'll be the kind of man who'll go after what he wants no matter the consequences. But he's also a man with lots of skeletons in his closet, and page after page you feel the need to reveal his motives, his secrets... everything.
Enter India... She's one hell of female character. I loved her. And her chemistry with Jericho is INSANE!!! *insert a bunch of flame emojis* India will became the pawn in a dangerous game, and that will be the thread conducting the main plot in this first book.
This story is absolutely captivating and addictive. Flawless plot, wonderful characters and lots of secrets to reveal. You're in for a treat with Deal with the Devil.
If you decide to read it, think of me when you read the expression "release the Kraken" in the book, lol. And... don't hate me when you read the ending. The second book is around the corner, so we won't be suffering too long *winky face emoji*
