First of all, even though this book is part of a series you can read it as a standalone. At least I didn't feel the lack of information to read this one (It doesn't mean I don't want to read the rest of the series).
Ravenous is an erotic romance novel with a particular beginning. Ellie wants to become a mother, and the sexy British god called Jasper offers himself to help her. What a nice friend, isn't he? But this guy isn't a disinterested gentleman, and you're about to discover his reasons.
One of my fav things about Ellie is that she's a sucker for british accent as I do, lol. She's stubborn and smart, she cares a lot about her family... I loved that. Jasper, in the other hand, isn't just sexy..., he's cocky and misterious, also smart and passionate about filmmaking (and kinky sex).
They weren't looking for love, they were sealing a deal. But sometime love just happens. It didn't mean it has to be easy, btw.
I had to admit this is my first book of this author (yup, I'm a Marie Force's books virgin), and maybe BDSM stuff isn't my regular choice in romance novels, but I've enjoyed this a lot. The rich plot, the well developed characters, the first person narration... I feel a connection with the story since the first page and I couldn't put it down.
If you enjoy romance novels spiced with hot sex and funny momments, then you should try this book.
