#Review Bittersweet (True North Book 1) by Sarina Bowen

8:23

I read this book a few weeks ago, and I was waiting this day to tell you how awesome it was. I received an ARC in exchange of a honest review (Thanks Nina and Sarina, btw), and now I'm writing this while I'm thinking about a glass with cider  and farmers...

Thanks to Bittersweet I skip my night-sleep just to travel through the pages and... dude, you gotta love the book.

Sarina Bowen made magic with this Second Chance Romance. The story is absolutely GORGEOUS. The grumpy farmer called Griffin, and his lovely family, stole my heart. Growing up in a farm, I can feel related with Griffin and his passion about the land (and the work on the orchards), he fighting for get the money for keep it up for his family, leaving his desires beside for 'real work'...

I loved Audrey as well. She is funny, smart and have big dreams. Maybe love wasn't part of the plan for any of them, but life isn't just as you planned.

All the characters are nicely developed, there's to many fun moments and romantic (and sexy) action. The whole story is a ride. And what a ride! I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as I did, also you'll be willing to learn how dirty these farmers would be.

About the book:

The last person Griffin Shipley expects to find stuck in a ditch on his Vermont country road is his ex-hookup. Five years ago they’d shared a couple of steamy nights together. But that was a lifetime ago.

At twenty-seven, Griff is now the accidental patriarch of his family farm. Even his enormous shoulders feel the strain of supporting his mother, three siblings and a dotty grandfather. He doesn’t have time for the sorority girl who’s shown up expecting to buy his harvest at half price.

Vermont was never in Audrey Kidder’s travel plans. Neither was Griff Shipley. But she needs a second chance with the restaurant conglomerate employing her. Okay—a fifth chance. And no self-righteous lumbersexual farmer will stand in her way.

They’re adversaries. They want entirely different things from life. Too bad their sexual chemistry is as hot as Audrey’s top secret enchilada sauce, and then some.

Warning: Contains sexual situations, gourmet yumminess, a steamy outdoor shower and proof that farmers don't mind getting dirty.

Find it on Amazon and Goodreads.
