THE GOAL is the fourth installment in the Off-Campus Series by Elle Kennedy. In the previous books we met Garrett, Logan and Dean, now is out time to meet Tucker... and do you remember the infamous Sabrina James? Dean's nemesis? well, she's part of the package.

She’s good at achieving her goals…

College senior Sabrina James has her whole future planned out: graduate from college, kick butt in law school, and land a high-paying job at a cutthroat firm. Her path to escaping her shameful past certainly doesn’t include a gorgeous hockey player who believes in love at first sight. One night of sizzling heat and surprising tenderness is all she’s willing to give John Tucker, but sometimes, one night is all it takes for your entire life to change.

But the game just got a whole lot more complicated

Tucker believes being a team player is as important as being the star. On the ice, he’s fine staying out of the spotlight, but when it comes to becoming a daddy at the age of twenty-two, he refuses to be a bench warmer. It doesn’t hurt that the soon-to-be mother of his child is beautiful, whip-smart, and keeps him on his toes. The problem is, Sabrina’s heart is locked up tight, and the fiery brunette is too stubborn to accept his help. If he wants a life with the woman of his dreams, he’ll have to convince her that some goals can only be made with an assist.

I'm not a big fan of football, but I love sport romances, specially this series. After Dean's book, I was dying for Tucker and Sabrina’s book... thanks Nina and Elle for letting me read it beforehand.

As the title says, this novel is about goals. Life goals. And that something Sabrina James had well defined. She's a student with a future detailed planned: Go to Hardvard, leave her gran's house, become a successful lawyer. She also work very hard to accomplush those goals, and that's the reason because Sabrina doesn’t do dating or romantic relationships 'cause she has no time, but she does do athletes from time to time.

Tucker is a hockey player and he loves the game. His team is like his family, but he doesn't dream with going pro. All that he wants is to own his own business doing something he enjoys. Tucker is one of those guys that everyone adores. He’s good looking, sweet, fun and charming, dedicated and loyal also he has a sexy southern drawl.  When he first sees Sabrina, he knows there is something special there. He feels it. But one night between them changes everything for the both of them.

I enjoyed this book so much. It's funny, but also intense. Tucker's the ultimate book boyfriend, and Sabrina fights so hard against the attraction burning between them. I loved to see the fierce determination of Tucker, pursuing Sabrina 'cause he was sure she was The One. The narrative rythm is spectacular, the strength of the feelings... in a moment I was crying and in the next I was laughing out loud. Live certain events from a different perspective was also interesting. Now I'm curious about Fitzy, but I have no idea if there will be any other book in this series. I'll cross my fingers and pray.
