THE WRIGHT BROTHER
By K.A Linde

Standalone – Contemporary Romance
Release Day: February 28th, 2017

I'd dated his brother.
He didn’t remember and I wish I could forget.
I may have sworn off the Wright family a long time ago. But when I returned home, Jensen Wright crashed into my life with the confidence of a billionaire CEO and the sex appeal of a god. Even I couldn’t resist our charged chemistry, or the way he fit into my life like a missing puzzle piece.
Too bad he’d forgotten the one thing that could destroy us.
Because Jensen Wright doesn’t share. Not with anyone. And if his brother finds out, this could all go down in flames.
When it all was said and done, was he the Wright brother?

MY REVIEW:

I love contemporary romance but I hadn't a good record with the CEO romances, mostly because at some point all seems the same for me. Even though, when I read the blurb of this book I had the feeling this time could be different. I hadn't read the writer before, so trying a new author was a plus for me.

Emery leaves college after she catches her boyfriend cheating on her, and then return to her hometown. And maybe being back home not bring the best memories. A broken heart (when she was dealing with a broke-up) thanks to a Wright brother. But she re-connects with Heidi, her best friend, who does her best to cheer up to Emery, so it wasn't that bad, right?

A wedding invitation she attends with Heidi, for one of the Wright's brothers. Yep, you're right, the one Emery dated in High School. Then enter Jensen, the elder brother of her groom, and sparks fly all over the place. He can't take his eyes off her,. The moment their eyes lock it’s as if time stand stills and no one else exists. But our girl gets a broken heart with one of them already, and she promised herself never to get tangled with the Wright’s again.

I was not prepared for these brothers. I loved Jensen right away. I really enjoy when he was pursuing Emery trying to charm his way into her life. He's handsome, smart, sexy and definitely alpha. He believes in the "Bro code" so the battle with his conscience when it came to Emery was pretty interesting to read.

Emery, for the other hand, was independant and intelligent. She wasn’t just another pretty face in the town, and she also valued her self-respect. I loved her for that. She was a little dramatic sometimes, but it was ok for me.

I would highly recommend this book. I enjoyed meeting the Wright family and look forward to reading more from them.
