"This is why I read romance." --Lauren Rowe, USA Today and Internationally bestselling author

Hi there!!! I'm thrilled to share with you the new installment in the Fight for Me series by A.L. Jackson. I discovered this author with SHOW ME THE WAY and it was absolutely amazing, now she's releasing FOLLOW ME BACK, and I promise you this book is all you need in your kindle (or your bookshelf) right now.

Follow Me Back

The next seductive, unforgettable stand-alone romance in the FIGHT FOR ME series from NYT & USA Today Bestselling Author A.L. Jackson . . .

Kale Bryant. Arrogant. Gorgeous. Commanding.

This ER doctor is married to his job. His only vice is one-night stands and short-lived flings. He learned a long time ago loving someone isn’t worth the risk.

Harley Hope Masterson. Beautiful. Brave. Sweet.

The owner of a small coffee shop knows what it’s like to struggle. Embroiled in a bitter divorce, she’s threatened with losing everything.

When Kale accepts a new position down the street from Hope’s shop, he begins to question every wall he’s built around his heart.

He wants her in a way he hasn’t wanted anyone.

One touch is fire.

One kiss, and he’s spinning out of control.

But taking her won’t come without consequences.

Hope is in for the fight of her life. One neither of them saw coming.

Now Kale must decide if loving her is worth risking it all.

She will fight with everything she has.

My review

This book took my breath away. From the simplicity of the narrative, to the intensity of the feelings filling the pages, FOLLOW ME BACK was pure perfection. The story was raw, and in certain way I wasn't prepared for such a hit, but it was beautiful to see Kale and Hope learn to heal their old wounds and embrace love, because they deserved it.

Sometimes life test us, and that's what happen with the characters in this story. Their past wasn't easy or pretty, they lived some things that left a mark on them, and they were afraid. Because is imposible, once you were hurt, to trust and to let go.

The chemistry between Kale and Hope was insane since they laid eyes in each other for the first time, and the attraction grew and grew with every interaction. Every scene they are in the same room is swoon-worthy. And I loved that the author described with such a detail how they felt, their fears and their doubts because you can see how they were living the same thing, but they were facing it differently.

While reading this book my feelings were all over the place. I cried, I laughed... I suffered but I smiled. It was heartbreaking, but also it was uplifting. While reading I discovered that the phase in the cover was true: Even hope needs a hero. But sometimes, even the hero needs to be rescued and saved.

This is a story that deserve to be readed. I loved it and I recommend it to everyone who's willing to open the heart and fall in love.
