“I’m falling for you, Janny.”
“Kyle, what’s wrong?”
His lips move, but no words leave his mouth. Panic fills his eyes.
“I want to be with you and I don’t plan to let you go.”
“Kyle, what’s happening?” I yell, my voice is laced with fear.
Our eyes meet. His breaths are quick and shallow. Terror snakes its way around me, squeezing until I can’t breathe. He grips his head with both hands and
falls hard to his knees.
I fall to mine, my shaky hands grabbing his face. “Kyle can you hear me?” I scream.
“Janny Moore, will you be my girlfriend?”
His eyes squeeze shut. Sweat beads on his face. I wipe it away, and touch my forehead to his.
His beautiful golden brown eyes open. He smiles.
“We should stop before I can’t.”
Tears cloud my eyes and fall helplessly. I smile back. He’s going to be okay.
“I wasn’t prepared for you.”
Relief turns to horror when his eyes roll back into his head. He slips from my grasp, his head hitting the concrete with a sickening thud.
“I’ve fallen in love with you.”
“No!” I yell, reaching for him.
“I never want to spend another day without you.”
I sob, cradling his bloodied head in my lap.

Jacob Chance grew up in New England and still lives there today. He’s a martial artist, a football fan, a practical joker and junk food lover.
A writer of erotic romance, QUIVER is his second release and is the follow up to QUAKE.
Jacob plans on writing many more sexy, suspenseful stories and to branch out to other genres.

My Review:
I'm not lying when I said this book has one of the most unexpected plots that I ever read. After the wicked cliffhanger on Quake, Jacob Chance wrote this novel as a sequel and filled it with more suspense.
If you remember, Kyle is a Private Investigator who fallen in love with Janny. Their relationship wasn't simple or conventional, but it was passionate and intense.
That intensity still alive in this book, but the lovers have new challenges ahead. Will be their love strong enough to survive? All the bets are open!
A trepidant storyline, characters growing along the book, and a wonderful narrative rythm is what you may find in Quiver. And if you're familiar with Jacob's writing you will know he has some surprises under his sleeve at the end.
I definitely recommend this book and I'm looking forward to reading Delve.
