My Review
If you thought DEAL WITH THE DEVIL book on this series was good, just wait until you read LUCK OF THE DEVIL. This time around Meghan March plays with the tension and the suspense while the story between Jericho transforms. And, God, I love her for that. What started as a deal, as a mere transaction for the lead characters, suddenly started to feel like more. Like something nor Jericho or India were ready for. It started to feel real.
With secrets and danger surround them, Jericho and India are fighting against their enemies, known and unknown. Every time a layer of mystery falls, we find a new one, making the reading experience something utterly addictive. But our characters aren't just fighting bad guys... they are also fighting against their own feelings, because admitting they're in love, in certain way, feels like admitting defeat. And neither of them want to lose.
I loved the first installment, but I devoured this one in the blink of an eye. Page after page the tension grew up, so did my expectations. The development of the characters and the plot was masterful. And the ending... dear God! That was EPIC!! I need more! ASAP!
The third installment in the series has a really big shoes to fill now.
