Synopsis:

She wasn’t part of my original plan for revenge, but one glance at her and I was entranced. I followed her for weeks, observing her habits. I’ve been in her apartment numerous times, learning anything and everything I can about her. She’s become an obsession and I’ll do whatever it takes to make her mine.

It’s only a matter of time before I have her where I want her...

on her knees and at my mercy.

Soon, there will be no secrets between us.

Exclusive Content Excerpt:

Who is she? My eyes narrow as I take in the red haired nymph on the dance floor. Studying her movements, I notice she’s graceful and fluid, yet sexy at the same time. Watching her hips sensually sway to the slower tempo and grind to the thumping bass has my teeth clenching and my heart pounding wildly in my chest. I fight an instinctive urge to rush over, take her in my arms and never let her go.

What the hell is wrong with me? I’ve never had this reaction to a woman before. Usually they’re just a means to get off - a nameless, faceless hole to fuck. I use them hard and fast, bringing them extreme pleasure and pain because one isn’t as good without the other.

I’m tempted to slide behind her and let my hands roam over the gentle curves of her hips then slip around her waist to pull her flush against the front of me. There’d be no mistaking the effect her body has on me. She’d wiggle her ass against my cock, teasing me, then flick her eyes over her shoulder with a small playful smile on her shiny red lips. My fingers would slide down the soft material of her dress to skim along the bottom edge, trailing over her silky thighs. She’d tremble from my touch, proof she wants me too.

Merely thinking about it has me fighting the overwhelming urge to carry her off and have my wicked way with her. I want to see her cuffed to my bed, whimpering and begging for my tongue or hard cock.

She returns to the table in the back corner of Quake, a popular club in Boston, with her friends. Her cheeks are flushed pink from dancing and her hair falls around her shoulders in a sexy disarray of waves.

My eyes scan the faces of the people she’s with. I know the names and have background information on them all. I’m well acquainted with some, more than others. I grimace as my hand rubs over my stomach. It was only weeks ago that I had a knife buried to the hilt in my gut and I was at death’s doorstep. Seeing the person responsible causes anger to burn through my veins.

Taking a deep breath I flick my gaze back to the living red haired angel. Immediately, I feel a sense of calm wash over me. She’s the only new face amongst them and now that I’ve seen her - no other matters. I have to find out who she is. I need to learn all I can about her.

Her eyes scan the room as if she can sense the heat of my stare. I smirk knowing she feels it too. This pulsing attraction between us is powerful and it needs to be explored. It will be explored. When I set my mind to something, nothing stands in my way.

Her hands smooth down the material on the back of her dress before she sits. She awkwardly tugs down the bottom to provide as much modesty as possible, but the short length leaves a good portion of her long sleek legs exposed. I can tell she’s uncomfortable and I smile at her modesty. There’s a sense of innocence about her I find extremely attractive.

Round after round of drinks are ordered by her friends as I stand here, studying her every move, slowly sipping a beer. Watching her tongue make a slow trek around the rim of her margarita glass, licking up all traces of salt has me mesmerized.

She throws her head back laughing and her long red hair tumbles past her shoulders.

What would her hair feel like trailing over my bare chest if she bent down to kiss me while riding my cock?

I need to know who this precious angel is. Seeing her tonight isn’t a coincidence. Fate placed her in my path for a reason.

Standing to the side of the bar, my shoulder braced against a white stucco pillar, my casual body language conceals the hurricane of emotions she’s stirring up in me. She’s an unexpected twist in my well thought out plan. I can’t wait to get to know her.

Let the games begin...

Synopsis

She’s become an obsession and I’ll do whatever it takes to make her mine.

It’s only a matter of time before I have her where I want her...

on her knees and at my mercy.

Soon, there will be no secrets between us.

Excerpt:

Sobs fill the silence of the room. “Dad, leave mom alone,” I shout, pushing on his chest and shoving him back a couple of feet. Like a tenacious pit bull after a chew toy - this fucker just keeps coming.

Each time he comes back harder, finally snaking by me. Gripping her upper arm in his meaty fist, he digs his fingers deep into her skin, and uses his other arm to block me.

Cries from the pain and the fear he instills mix with the stench of alcohol emanating from his body. His other hand goes to her neck, gripping under her chin. The shriek piercing my ears is cut off when he squeezes.

Her face changes color.

Red. Then purple. Finally, heading into the blue family. Blue’s always been my favorite color, but I can’t say I’ve ever seen this exact shade before. It’s the color of sadness and the ocean of tears my mom has cried over this asshole.

Everything happens fast. Her eyes open wide and bulge as the pressure of his fingers increases.

She can’t breathe and I’m paralyzed standing behind him, watching it happen.

Transfixed with fascination, I stare. Her eyes lock on me, her love shining through the agony she’s experiencing. The terror and pleading in her eyes fades to acceptance.

She knows this time she’s going to die.

Tears flow uncontrolled down her cheeks and a sense of relief washes over me.

This is the last time he’ll ever make her cry.

My Review

After reading Jacob's previous books, I can say this book is a whole new level of awesomeness.

I'm accostumed to the suspense and the fast pace in the narration, the action, all the feels and the emotions spilled trough the pages, we agree Jacob would have it hard to top himself this time. But otherthing about his books: He never dissapoint.

Zack has been a constant in the previous stories. After his first appareance, he turned in this figure, like a shadow, you may say, waiting in the dark for his moment to reveal his secrets.

Once he was the bad guy, now he's the leading character. But, is Zack the hero?

I loved the careful way the author developed the storyline, avoiding to fall in the cliché of turning the antagonist in a good boy from overnight. Zack made bad things and he belived have reasons to do it, but we didn't kew those reasons till this book.

In Delude we discover how his life was connected with Kyle's (Have you read Quake and Quiver? you MUST read those books now), also we discover how works his mind. He's intense, a liar and a psycothic, and now he's obssesed with Lana. She's a sweet young lady, smart and loyal with her friends, she also has a lot of secrets about her past.

Are Lana's secrets as dangerous as Zack's? And most important, Can they survive the truth? You need to read the book to find out. The only thing I'll say is this: This book will surprise you, excite you and make you feel in love with Jacob's writing (if you weren't in love already).

Synopsis:

Seven years is a long time to wait to be with the person you know you were meant to be with. My patience has reached its limit. Kenna McKenzie needs to be mine forever and I’m not waiting any longer. Fate has thrown too many obstacles in our path already. The sooner I permanently tie her to me, the better...then I can tie her to the bed for a wedding night I’ll make sure she never forgets.

Join Derek, Kenna and all their friends for a wild and thrilling wedding weekend in Sin City. What happens in Vegas is supposed to stay in Vegas, but you never know who might be there... watching.

Excerpt:

I can’t stand here any longer; I must get closer. I need to feel the heat of her body in front of me and smell her exotic scent. It’s some enticing combination of sweet and spicy all at the same time. Cinnamon and sugar. I bet her pussy tastes like that too. When my tongue dips inside her for the first time, her unique and complex flavor will be better than anything I’ve ever tasted before.

Her eyes drift closed as she gets lost in the song playing. Her back is to Kenna and Janny and there are other couples dancing between them. I amble forward, hoping no one will notice me, and ease in behind her, matching my movements to hers. I gently place my hands on her hips and lean down close to whisper in her ear, “Don’t turn around.” She startles at first, but when I gently squeeze her hip she nods to let me know she’s going to follow my instructions. “I want you to roll that sweet little ass of yours all over my cock while we dance. I want you to feel every thick inch of how hard watching you has made me.” I pull her back against me, my cock lined up with the center of her ass. “Do you feel that?” My whisper is hoarse in her ear and she shivers in reaction and then nods her head. I wrap an arm around her waist and let the other one slide up and down along the subtle curve of her hip while we move as one to the song playing.

“Walk forward to the back corner,” I command. She hesitates and then shakes her head. “We’re in Sin City, precious. This is a judgement free zone and the perfect opportunity for you to do something like this. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.” I persuade her. “Take a chance - have some fun.”

I place both of my hands on her hips and gently urge her forward. She takes small steps in her sexy heels until we’re in the corner, facing the back wall. “Are you wet now?” I nuzzle my nose along the curve of her ear. “Are your juices dripping out along your slit?” She nods, and my fingers skim down over her hip to tease her silky thigh at the bottom of her dress.

Our hips are still moving in tandem and the motion of her curvy little ass against my cock has me ready to burst. I clench my teeth and take a deep breath. Control is paramount for me in all things. She’s the first person, the first thing, who’s tested me to this degree.

“I want to make you come,” I whisper in her ear. She doesn’t react. “Tell me I can push my fingers in your slippery little cunt and make you explode.” The sexiest little moan expels from her lips. “No one will see what we’re doing. It’s just you and me, precious girl.”

“Yes, please.” Her voice is breathy in anticipation of what I’m about to do. I can barely fucking breathe as I think of what her slick, little pussy is going to feel like squeezing my fingers.

My Review:

After Delve, I wanted to know what happened with the characters created by Jacob. Tied was a wonderful opportunity to discover it. With this sexy and surprising multi-POV novella the author take us to Las Vegas, to the wedding of Derek and Kenna. This hot couple took a flight to sign their 'happily ever after, and enjoy some time with their friends.

There's a Asian Myth about being tied to your soulmate since you were born, and I remembered while I was reading this novella. The chemistry between Derek and Kenna is amazing, and their love story is pretty special. But this book isn't just about them...

There are some news from Janny and Kyle, some unexpected action between Josh and Elle (I didn't see that coming) and... yes, Zack is back in the story (insert the suprised emoji here). With the intervention of those characters the author open spot for discussions: Will there more books about Janny and Kyle? Who's next? Josh and Elle or Zack and... well, you know, the girl he's stalking now?

I've enjoyed this book a lot and can't wait to read more from this author.

Synopsis:

He was my brother’s best friend and seven years older than me.

He was a tatted up bad boy, indulging in one night stands like they were going out of style.

So why did I want to tear his clothes off every time we got within five feet of each other?

She was only eighteen years old when we met for the first time.

She was a good girl who avoided guys like me, but that didn’t stop me from picturing all the things I wanted to do to her-to do with her. She was too young though, and my best friend’s baby sister. I couldn’t let things go where I wanted. I couldn’t touch her-couldn’t taint her with my darkness. I knew it could never happen. It would never happen…

but it did.

Excerpt:

He’s Lucifer in the flesh with those deep brown eyes and dark-as-sin hair. My eyes move down, taking in the close-shaved beard hiding the contours of his chiseled jawline, before continuing on to his full lips. I carefully study their masculine shape. I can still remember what those lips felt like on mine; even though I’ve done everything I can to forget. I wish I could erase the memory of how he gripped the back of my hair tight in his fist and tugged me forward until our lips were just a whisper of a breath apart.

“Is this what you want?” he’d asked. I could feel his warm breath on my mouth before he’d softly brushed his lips against mine. “Do you want to see how close to the fire you can be without getting burned, little girl?”

I tried to pull away, incensed at being called little girl. I wasn’t a girl. I was a twenty-one- year-old woman; perfectly capable of knowing what I should and shouldn’t be doing. I knew which heading kissing him fell under – insanity.

He was my brother’s best friend.

He was seven years older than me.

He was a pig when it came to casual sex; indulging in one-night stands like they were going out of style.

That alone should have been enough to repulse me, but for some odd reason, it didn’t. It only made me wonder what kind of things he would do to me. I was smart enough to recognize that those three things combined were a recipe for disaster. The wreckage left over would be the pieces of my heart, and I couldn’t put myself out there for him on the off chance that he wouldn’t break me. My heart was damaged enough already.

He’d held my head in place as he’d swooped in, taking my lips in a kiss so hot I felt like I was going to burn up in flames. His tongue had plundered my mouth, punishing me for pulling away, for trying to resist him. He showed me who was in control with that kiss. He showed me I wouldn’t ever truly get away from him, and I hated him for that. I hated him for ruining other guys for me; but most of all I hated him for what he’d said when he pulled away from me.

“Stick to kissing those boys at school. Men want a woman in their arms, not a little girl.” He looked at me with such disdain, I wanted the ground to open up and swallow me whole. I wanted to disappear, go someplace where his painful words couldn’t hurt me anymore. Where my memory could be wiped clean of Derek Santiago and his handsome face.

That kiss is still the hottest one I’ve ever had to this day, but I still despise him for the cruel words he callously threw at me. Those words tore me apart and made me second guess myself. It took me a long time to realize what he said wasn’t motivated by me at all. It was the result of him despising himself.

My Review:

Talking about forbidden love stories...

Delve is the third novel by Jacob Chance published this year. It's a romantic suspense story, about Kenna (sister of Kyle, the lead character on Quake and Quiver) and Derek (partner of Kyle in the PI agency).

The first person narration, and the continuous change of POV let us enjoy the story in its full extent. I've talked about Jacob's writing before. His books are filled with action and emotion, passion and suspense, and you can see all those things from the first page.

The age difference, the different backgrounds of both characters seems to be a great issue for Derek, who's been lusting after Kenna since forever. There's a intensity between them that's undeniable. Every time they're in the same room the air turns electric!

Kenna was attracted to Derek since the first time she saw him, but the only way she could protect her heart from him was being elusive and sardonic. But there's something about the attraction... you can't fight it forever. Some incidents allow them see it's stupid to be apart, and show them that age is just a number, the past is just history and love is stronger than anything.

Always it's a pleasure to read Jacob's work, and at the end of the story he let the door open to another novel that I'm longing to read.
